Why should you ride a motorbike? I often face that question, particularly here in Hong Kong where every activity that takes outside an air conditioned shopping mall is considered as being reckless and dangerous. Even “hiking trails” are just concrete pathways leading up the mountains.
I came across the trailer of “Why We Ride”, a documentary that screened last year. If you have the chance – watch it! It’s available on iTunes and Amazon as well as on DVD.
Finally, the new BMW 1200 GS is coming to Hong Kong. At a price of HKD 233 000 it’s not cheap, especially when comparing to prices in Europe. But if you want a bike that carries you anywhere, a bike you can use in the city, long-distance and off-road, this is your bike.
